EvaluationsBefore we accept any dog into a training program, we do a preliminary evaluation to assess the dog's temperament, health, and problem behaviors so we can establish what programs are best suited to you and your dog. The evaluation lasts approximately one hour and is done on-site at Keystone Kennels. Evaluations can also be held in your home or at another location (by special arrangement) if necessary. What does the evaluation consist of?During the evaluation we will:
Once your evaluation is complete you will have everything you need to make an informed decision about your dog's training. You are under no obligation of any kind but should you decide to sign up, we are equipped to enroll you in a program immediately. Since we are a highly personalized service, all appointments will be scheduled at your convenience and around your schedule. Who should come to the evaluation? We strongly encourage you to bring everyone in your family to the evaluation and anyone else who has regular interaction with the dog. You will learn a lot about your dog (and dogs in general) during the evaluation and it can be very beneficial to have everyone there to hear it first-hand. Of course, it is not always possible to get everyone on the same schedule, so at a minimum the person who is most familiar with the dog should attend. Oh, and don't forget the dog too! How much does the evaluation cost?On-site evaluations at Keystone Kennels are completely free of charge. There is a nominal fee for evaluations involving highly aggressive dogs and evaluations performed in your home or other special locations. Seeing is BelievingA demonstration of one of our trained dogs is sometimes available*. On-leash obedience as well as complete Off-leash skills can be demonstrated using hand and voice commands. No treats, no force, see for yourself how happy a dog can be while performing for his master. * Demonstration of the dogs is available providing the dogs are on-site and not sick or injured at time of the evaluation. In-home demonstrations are not available. Please call 727.534.9299 or email info@trinitydogtraining.com for more information. |
